WHAT'S YOUR SIGN?
(1 Corinthians 12:7)
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Throughout history, Christendom has always been under attack -- externally. Today, the body of Christ's nemesis is not external, but internal -- its standards being compromised and corrupted by false teachers and preachers. Many such like teachers claim that a person receives the Holy Ghost when they receive Christ. Obviously, these men and women haven't read Acts 8:12-17, which tells of some Samaritans who believed on the Lord, had been baptized, but had not received the Spirit. The observers knew when the Samaritans received the Spirit because of a "demonstration".
Today's operative question to every Christian is "WHAT'S YOUR SIGN?" Those who believe the false prophets of the day must, instead, submit themselves to the word of God which states that the manifestation of the Spirit is given to EVERY MAN to profit withal. If you believe on the Lord, don't be deceived by the false teachers. Those who have had no manifestation don't have the "manifester". If the power of God's Spirit is not active in your life, seek him while He may be found -- until the manifestation of God's Spirit is apparent. Selah.
